Mr. Alessandro Poeti-Marentini, CEO & Chairman at Igli UK, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Fiparin. Mr. Poeti-Marentini is also President of Mercure International S.A., President of BInvest S.à.r.l., President and CEO of BioAgro Brands International, which controls Compañía Sudamericana de Tierras (Sudtierras).
Mr. Poeti-Marentini brings the experience of his career at Igli as former Executive Manager to the CEO (2014-2022).
He replaces Mr. Max Vergara Poeti-Marentini, who departs to become Investments Executive at ProColombia, a government agency of the Executive Branch of the Government of Colombia in charge of promoting Colombian non-traditional exports, international tourism and foreign investment to Colombia.
